The Pros and Cons of Buying a Condo

I think the military must have a class on the importance of weighing out pros and cons as part of their indoctrination process. I don’t think I’ve ever encountered a service member—my husband and brother-in-law included—who doesn’t make lists of pros and cons.

After years of trying to fight the process (expressing “feelings” about a prospective large purchase, such as a real estate, apparently doesn’t measure up to the regimented and logical pros and cons list).

I thought I’d help you all out by weighing out the top 5 reasons to buy a condo and the top 5 reasons not to buy a condo. This should at least give you a starting point for discussion for your military family’s next big home buying decision.

Oh, and in case you were wondering, “cuteness” factors don’t make the pros list.
